George Best Belfast City Airport

Etain have worked with George Best Belfast City Airport on a number of software solutions over the past decade. Having developed and maintained the BCA website for many years, Etain worked with the airport management to assist travellers on the move to keep up to date with the ever changing flight schedules. The new iPhone App which we developed easily displays the up to date arrivals and departures information allowing travellers to adjust their plans should there be any changes.

Furthermore, Etain have recently developed software for BCA to assist passengers with reduced mobility get to the right gate, at the right time. Airports can be hectic at the best of times, with people rushing to gates and picking up bags but what happens when you have a passenger without the ability to get from A to B on time? Like most other airports, BCA relied on a number of various systems to assign staff to help these passengers. Through working closely with the airport, we developed bespoke software and adapted PDAs that gave the airport staff tighter control over the whole process, helping to reduce inefficiencies and creating a reliable audit trail that can track and record every job from start to finish.
