Organising an event used to take 6 people at Fáilte Ireland approximately 4 weeks. Now it often takes only 2 people less than 8 hours to organise even the most complex ‘Meet the Buyer’ events. A lot of planning goes into organising just one event. However, Fáilte Ireland put on over 250 events of all sizes every year.

We developed an advanced, highly flexible Event Management System to help streamline the organisational process, covering every element of event management from event set up and planning; participant profiles, invitations and registration; wait list and quota management, to appointment scheduling and follow up surveys. This meant Fáilte Ireland could reduce the typical workload from 6 people working over 4 weeks, to just 2 people working for 8 hours – cutting the administration effort by 80%.

Etain have also worked with Fáilte Ireland on a number of other projects and continue to support their event management software. Following the success of the Fáilte Ireland project Etain have since worked on similar projects with Northern Ireland Tourist Board and Morrow Communications, amongst others.
